Supporting Sounds is a music-based platform founded by Eva Ngu, a classically trained pianist and current student at the St. John’s School in Houston, Texas. She started this website to offer a multisensory experience where visitors can listen to music, explore art that complements it, and engage with psychology-based resources while offering self-care tips and deeper insights.
Eva’s journey in music began at a young age, performing for family and judges, and she soon realized the power of music as a tool for personal growth. She wanted to create a space where people could quickly discover music that resonates with their emotions while also learning about the powerful connection between music and mental health.
With Supporting Sounds, Eva aims to provide a thoughtfully curated multisensory musical experience that aligns with one’s feelings, all supported by research-backed psychology resources and practice mental health advice so that visitors can gain agency in their mental health journeys. Join us as we work to integrate music and mindfulness into our community–one note at a time.
